Bartlett Hinchey was a son of David Hinchey and Violet Salter.
He married Vicey Horn January 3, 1818 in Orange, North Carolina.

John Bartlett Hinchey was a son of Bartlett Hinchey and Vicey Horn.
He was born about 1824.
He married Rebekah Rice July 24, 1849 in Henry County, Tennessee.
He died before 1900.

Sarah Elizabeth Hinchey was a daughter of John Bartlett Hinchey and Rebekah Rice.
She was born June 11, 1852 at Paris, Tennessee
She married Andrew Jackson Petty on November 20, 1873 in Henry County, Tennessee.
She died September 3, 1937 at Davis, Oklahoma.

Bartlett Hinchey was the son of David Hinchey & Violet Salter. David and
Violet were from Orange County, NC. They were married 11 April 1795. The
source of this information is the NC Orange County Web site where a
transcript of marriage (not just Hinchey's) exists. According to the 1800
census they had 1 male under 10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male 18-26, 2 females les
than 10. 1 female 26-45. I don't understand all the entries, but it may
have been nephews. Their children are Bartlett, John & Mary. Mary
Married James Rhodes. Bartlett Married Vicey Horn 3 Jan 1818 in Orange NC.

Bartlett & Vicey have the following children:
William Hinchey born 1819 NC married Hixey Myrick in HC, TN
David A. Hinchey born 1820 NC never married died prior to 1900 he was a
Constable in HC in 1850
John B. Hinchey born about 1824 (your guy)
Joshua Crude Hinchey born 10 Jan 1825 married Mary Jane Waller 1 December
1850 he died 18 March 1907 in HC, TN
Emeline Elizabeth Hinchey born about 1827 married James K. Bevil 14
September 1851
Louisa Catherine Hinchey born about 1830 never married died 20 June 1903

John B. Hinchey & Rebecca Rice married 24 July 1849 in Henry County. He
died before 1900 when we find Rebecca living with her youngest daughter
Launa Dowdy.
Their children are:
Mary E (or C) born about 1850
Sarah Elizabeth born about 1852
DJH Born about 1856
Rebecca born about 1861
Launa born about 1873ish she married D.L. Dowdy on 08 April 1895.
