This is on the front steps of the First Baptist Church, Davis, Oklahoma. Clothing styles indicate it must have
been taken in the early 40s so it is likely that some children from our family are here. I don't recognize any of the
children but the woman on the left, 2nd row from the top, is probably my mother. Also could be her sister
Betty.
This is my 2nd grade class in Stephenville, Texas. I am the child with dark braids, upper right. Below me,
scratching her ear, is my friend Joy Lynn. Joy Lynn's twin, Mary Beth, who was in another 2nd grade classroom, was also
a friend of mine. The Hispanic-looking child in the front row is a twin, too. Her name is Kay and her twin's name
is Gay.
This is part of my 8th grade class at Hot Wells Junior High School, San Antonio, Texas. I am in the front row,
2nd from left, between friends Margie and Joyce. The blonde on the right is Glenda and behind her is a German exchange student
whose name I have forgotten.
